Terms & Conditions

 

All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these Terms & Conditions apply are according to the Dutch law. Jewels by Janine is registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. By ordering anything at jewelsbyjanine.com you accept these terms & conditions. The Offer

If an offer has a limited validity period or is made subject to conditions, this shall be expressly stated in the offer. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products, digital content and/or services offered. The description is sufficiently detailed to allow a good assessment of the offer by the consumer. If there is any use of images, these are a true reflection of the products, services and/or digital content offered. Obvious mistakes or obvious errors in the offer will not bind the company. Each offer contains such information that it is clear to the consumer what rights and obligations are attached to accepting the offer.

 

Return or Exchange

The consumer is obliged to handle the product and its packaging with care. (S)he will only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. The starting point here is that the consumer may only handle and inspect the product as he would be allowed to do in a store. 

If you are not satisfied with the product(s) you ordered, or in case you ordered multiple articles because you couldn't decide yet, you can return the article(s) you don't wish to keep. Please keep in mind that earrings cannot be returned, due to hygienic reasons. You can only return products that have not been worn and are not damaged. You can use the return portal https://jewelsbyjanine.shipping-portal.com to return your products. Here you can also mention the reason for your return. You must return the return shipment sufficiently franked. If your return is accepted you will receive a full refund or you may exchange the item for the same amount. In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged product and you can prove this happened before wearing, you will also get refunded for the delivery costs. 

 

Delivery 

Jewels by Janine will take the utmost care in processing orders. The place of delivery is the address that the consumer has made known in their order. Orders can be guaranteed by the mailbox if it meets the requirements that PostNL sets to letterboxes. It means that the free opening of the slot must be at least 265 mm long and 33 mm wide. If there is a space behind the insertion slot where the post may fall, its dimensions must be at least 270 mm x 150 mm x 380 mm (W x H x D). In the unfortunate event that a package gets damaged or lost, the delivery services will be held accountable and an investigation will be requested by Jewels by Janine. Please note I will do everything in my power to help you track your package, but these parcel investigations might take some time.

Complaints

Complaints about the implementation of the agreement must be submitted to Jewels by Janine fully and clearly described within a reasonable time after the consumer has found the defects. Complaints submitted to Jewels by Janine shall be answered within a period of 14 days, calculated from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeably longer processing time, I will respond within the period of 14 days with a message of receipt and an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed answer. My goal is to make you happy, so I will do anything in my power to put that smile (back) on your face! :-)
